Army Commander, General Joseph Aoun, received at his office in Yarzeh, Minister of Public Works and Transportation, Youssef Fenianos, with talks touching on the general situation in the country.
Aoun also welcomed the Deputy Director of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation, Alexi Franklin, accompanied by the Russian Ambassador to Lebanon, Alexander Zasypkin, and military attaché Colonel Ratimir Ghabasov.
Discussions touched on prospects of cooperation between the armies of both countries.
Then, the Army Chief met with the Italian military attaché, Brigadier General Pierre Luigi Montidoro, who came on a farewell visit in which he introduced his successor, Colonel Massimiliano Sforza
