BACA President receives US ambassador

President of Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa received today newly appointed US Ambassador to Bahrain Justin Siberell. She stressed the importance of maintaining bridges of civilisational and humanitarian communication between both countries, lauding strong bilateral relations mainly in the cultural field. She also informed him about the main programmes of BACA for 2018, including mainly celebrating “Muharraq Capital of Islamic Culture” and organising the 44th edition of Bahrain Annual Fine Arts Exhibition.
The US ambassador praised Bahrain’s rich cultural heritage and history, lauding BACA’s efforts to boost the cultural momentum in Bahrain and with the rest of the world.
