Speaker of the House, Nabih Berri, met, at his Ain-el-Tineh residence on Friday, with Minister of Public Health, Ghassan Hasbani, over the general situation and an array of current affairs.
"The meeting with the Speaker was good as usual. We discussed developments on multiple levels, and the condition in all sectors. We underlined the importance of work and cooperation pertaining the state budget issue," Hasbani told reporters following the meeting.
"Talks also touched on the looming legislative elections as well as on the enforced laws and procedures regarding the compliance with the institutions and the laws," he added.
Berri later met with the syndicate of money changers, headed by Elias Srour.
