Customs President Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalifa received British Ambassador to Bahrain Simon Martin and discussed with him topics of common interest in the customs field.
The Customs President asserted the importance of exchanging expertise between the two friendly countries, hailing the training programmes and customs security experiences in the UK. He highlighted the need to learn about the British border protection experience and measures in dealing with travelers and goods at borders.
The UK ambassador hailed cooperation with Bahrain to enhance customs practices to reinforce strong ties between the two countries in all fields.
