Egypt's Ambassador to South Sudan Ayman Mokhtar met on Tuesday with the newly-appointed minister of animal wealth resources and fisheries at the transitional South Sudanese government.
The South Sudanese minister praised efforts exerted by Egypt to help achieve food security in South Sudan.
South Sudan owns 36 million heads of cattle and produces 200 tons of fish annually, the minister said.
South Sudan is keen on making use of the Egyptian expertise in this field, he added.
