Manama - ArabToday

Electricity and Water Affairs Minister Dr. Abdulhussain Mirza received Jafari Consultants (JAFCON) Chief Executive Officer Dr. Akbar Jafri and other company officials who invited him to be the keynote speaker during a productivity conference that will be held under the patronage of Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa in April.
The conference, at the Gulf International Convention and Exhibition Centre of the Gulf Hotel, will be the first such event of its kind in the Middle East and North Africa and will attract speakers from 72 countries, including the United States, Britain, China and India, in addition to speakers from Bahrain. More than 600 people are expected to attend.
The minister accepted the invitation and said his participation supports the government plan to diversify the economy away from the oil sector. He said it would also support Bahrain’s sustainable energy projects in line with global trends.
Dr. Jafari thanked and appreciated the minister for having accepted the invitation and for his continued support and encouragement of such activities.
