Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry met Norwegian Mideast peace envoy Tor Wennesland for talks over the developments of the Palestinian issue and the future of the Mideast peacemaking process.
The Norwegian envoy listened to Shoukry's assessment of the ministerial meeting on the Mideast peace process that was held in Paris on June 3, Foreign Ministry spokesman Ahmed Abu Zeid Sunday.
The meeting tackled regional and international efforts aiming at resuming Palestinian-Israeli peace talks, ways of improving economic conditions of Palestinians and preparations for the committee in charge of coordinating humanitarian assistance to take place in Norway within coming few months.
