H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, has met with a number of ambassadors from the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, ASEAN, accredited to the UAE.
H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah and Sheikh Saleh bin Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Chairman of the Department of Industry and Economy of Fujairah, also attended the meeting.
During the meeting, the parties discussed means to strengthen cooperation between the emirate and ASEAN states.
The delegation included Ambassador Constancio R. Vingno of the Philippines; Ambassador Pham Binh Dam of Vietnam; Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Indonesia, Husin Bagis; Ambassador Syed Md Hasrin Tengku Hussin of Malaysia; Ambassador Komate Kamalanavin of Thailand, and Soekarddy bin Haji Abdullahsani, Charge d'Affaires of the Embassy of Brunei.
The Fujairah Ruler welcomed the diplomats and wished them success in carrying out their duties to strengthen bilateral ties and the bonds of friendship between their countries and the UAE.
The meeting was also attended by Mohammed Saeed Al Dhanhani, Director of the Fujairah Emiri Diwan, and Salem Al Zahmi, Director of the Office of the Fujairah Crown Prince.
