Jordanian FM confers with UN envoy for Yemen on means to settle Yemeni crisis

Jordanian Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs Ayman al Safadi asserted Jordan's backing for any efforts aimed at resolving the Yemeni crisis according to relevant UN resolutions, the Gulf initiative and the outcome of national dialogue.
The minister's remarks were made following his meeting with UN Envoy for Yemen Ismail Ould Sheikh Ahmed who briefed the Jordanian diplomat on the latest developments as regards the efforts exerted to resolve the Yemeni crisis.
The UN envoy, for his part, appreciated the efforts exerted by Jordan to realize peace and stability in Yemen and its cooperation with the UN envoy's office in Amman
