Jordan's King Abdullah II met here today with a delegation from US National Defense University comprising senior officers serving in the CAPSTONE Fellow programme, currently visiting the Kingdom as part of a tour of the Middle East.
According to the Jordan News Agency (Petra), the two sides discussed the latest developments of regional and international issues, notably the efforts being exerted to fight against terrorism and terrorist organizations that threaten global peace and stability in the region.
The delegation offered condolences to Jordan's King over the death of pilot Muath Kasasbeh, stressing the necessity to unite efforts in confronting terrorism and the Daesh terrorist group.
