His Highness Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers received on Monday Abdulmalik Abduljalil Al Mekhlafi, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of the Republic of Yemen, currently visiting the Sultanate.
During the meeting, the Yemeni official conveyed greetings of President Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi of the Republic of Yemen to His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said, along with his best wishes of permanent success to His Majesty and the government.
Sayyid Fahd reviewed the existing bilateral relations
between the two countries and means of enhancing them. Sayyid Fahd expressed the Sultanate's wishes of security and stability for the Yemen and its people.
On his turn, the Yemeni guest reviewed the conditions in his country, expressing his thanks for the Sultanate's cooperation with the issues of Yemen and the efforts the Sultanate exerts in this regard.
They also hailed the wisdom of His Majesty the Sultan in dealing with all issues of concern to the region.
The meeting touched on a number of issues and the latest developments at the regional and international arenas.
It was attended by Yousuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs.
