Egypt’s Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry held talks Thursday with Kenyan counterpart Amina Mohamed on ties and the Nile River water.
The meeting was held on the sidelines of the Executive Council of the African Union (AU) currently meeting in the Rwandan capital, Foreign Ministry’s Spokesman Ahmed Abu Zeid said.
The two ministers discussed the situation in South Sudan. Shoukry asserted Egypt’s interest in stability in the country.
They agreed on holding more discussions on the issues of mutual interest, the spokesman added.
