Egypt's President Abdel Fattah El Sisi received here Wednesday Kuwaiti Justice, Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Minister Yaqoub Abdulmohsen al Sane in the presence of Justice Minister Mohamed Hossam Abdel Rehim.
During the meeting, the Kuwaiti minister conveyed the greetings of Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah al Ahmad al Jaber al Sabah to President Sisi, said Presidential Spokesman Alaa Youssef.
He also voiced Kuwait's appreciation to Egypt, which is considered a main pillar for stability in the Arab region.
He further extended sincere condolences to Egypt over the death of eight policemen in Helwan terrorist attack, which took place several days ago.
The Kuwaiti minister, meanwhile, affirmed his country's support to Egypt and its keenness on promoting Arab efforts which aim to combat terrorism and extremism.
President Sisi, for his part, welcomed the Kuwaiti minister and wished Kuwait all progress and prosperity, added the spokesman.
He also conveyed his greetings to the Kuwaiti emir and hailed Kuwait's supportive stance to Egypt.
The meeting also took up the issues which will be discussed by the meeting of the executive bureau of the council of Arab justice ministers at the Arab League, said the spokesman.
The spokesman further said that President Sisi underlined the need of promoting the joint Arab action in order to confront the current challenges besetting the Arab nation.
He also pointed out to efforts exerted by the Arab justice ministers council, as part of promoting judicial cooperation.
