President Abdel Fattah el Sisi received on Thursday an official invitation to attend the fourth African-Arab summit to take place in Equatorial Guinea in November.
This came during Sisi's meeting with Vice President of Equatorial Guinea Teodorin Obiang who delivered a message from President of Equatorial Guinea Teodoro Nguema Obiang in this regard.
The meeting was attended by Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry.
Presidential Spokesman Alaa Youssef said Obiang delegated his vice president to hand over the invitation to Sisi in appreciation of his pivotal role at both the African and Arab arenas and contribution he made to boosting joint African-Arab action.
Youssef said talks took up ways of promoting cooperation between Egypt and Equatorial Guinea in a number of domains and the latest regional developments at the African arena.
