Tunisian president meets US congressional delegation

Tunisian politician Beji Caid Essebsi received on Thursday a US congressional delegation, led by Hal Rogers, the Tunisian presidency said in a press release.
During the meeting, Essebsi asserted that Tunisia has made great achievements in the political process while the economic and social processes still need more efforts.
He added that his upcoming visit to the US is planned to foster bilateral relations.
Meanwhile, Rogers asserted his country's readiness to boost relations with Tunisia.
