UAE Ambassador meets Spanish Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs

Dr. Hessa Abdullah Ahmed Al Otaiba, UAE Ambassador to Madrid, met with Spanish Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs Ignacio Ybanez.
The meeting discussed bilateral relations and ways to enhance them, as well as issues of mutual interest.
The meeting coincides with Spain's preparations to assume presidency of the United Nations Security Council in December 2016, with the important agenda of concern to the UAE's diplomatic efforts, such as the conflict in the Middle East and the humanitarian support in Syria, on the cards.
