The financial markets nationwide will close on Thursday, December 1, and resume trading on Sunday, December 4, the Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA) has announced.
In a statement, SCA said the Dubai Gold and Commodities Exchange will announce its holiday as per its work requirements and the public interest.
The authority noted that the announcement follows the circular issued by the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources No. (37) for 2016 on Commemoration Day and the UAE National Day anniversary holidays after co-ordination with the departments of the financial markets.
