Minister of Investment Dalia Khorshid will open on Wednesday the Arab-African Conference & Exhibition on Industrial Products for Businesswomen to open Sunday and run for four days.
The conference is organized by The Arab Union for Industrial Exports Development (AUIED) and the Arab-African Union for Businesswomen & the Council of Arab Businesswomen.
It is held under the patronage of President of Egypt Abdel Fattah El Sisi and the Secretary General of League of Arab States.
It presents the role of Arab & African women in enhancing industrial development and aims to support them in business establishment and export oriented industries for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). Among other things, the conference provides technical support, training and banking services such as flexible loans, government support of emerging sectors in the labor market and protection of women from exploitation.
The conference is accompanied by an international exhibition for industrial products produced by Arab and African businesswomen, such as handicrafts, silver, textiles, shoes and furniture.The exhibition includes fashion shows by Arab and African designers to reflect developments in the fashion industry in each of the participating countries.
Exhibitors from Arab, African and various countries of the world will participate in the event. B2B meetings between Arab and African businesswomen will be held during the event.
