Qasr el Nil Misdemeanor Cour
Cairo - Arab Today

Qasr el Nil Misdemeanor Court has set November 19 to issue its final ruling against Head of the Journalists’ Syndicate Yehia Qallash and board members Gamal Abdel Rehim and Khaled el Balshi who are charged with sheltering wanted people inside the syndicate's building.

The defense team called for exonerating the defendants from the charges leveled against them.

The three defendants are accuse of allowing journalist Amr Badr and blogger Mahmoud el Saqqa - who were wanted - to hide inside the syndicate HQ. Badr and Saqqa were arrested at the Syndicate in May.
