Egypt and South Africa will sign several memorandums of understanding during the Egyptian-South African committee meetings due to be held in Cairo by the end of September.
The Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce will sign a deal with the South African Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Egypt's General Authority for Investment and Free Zones will also ink a cooperation deal with its South African counterpart.
The two sides will also sign cooperation accords in the fields of agriculture and infrastructure.
Undersecretary of the Trade and Industry Ministry Said Abdallah said the committee is meant to enhance cooperation between the two countries in the fields of customs and micro and medium sized projects.
The committee will also foster cooperation by the two sides' chambers of commerce, he added.
This is the third meeting of the committee. The first was held in Egypt in May 2011 and the second in South Africa in February 2013, he said.
On the sidelines of the committee meetings, the second Egyptian-South African business forum will be held to review investment opportunities in the two countries as well as means of boosting trade exchange.
