The Investment Ministry and the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones will take part in the activities of a scientific conference, to be held in the Sea resort city of Hurghada on December 14.

Dubbed “By its scholars, Egypt can,” the two-day conference, held under the auspice of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, will group 27 Egyptian scholars and scientists living abroad.

It aims at maximizing the benefit from the Egyptian scholars living abroad to take part in developing the national projects in Egypt, especially the Suez Canal Area Development Project.

Investment Minister Dalia Khorshid said the Investment Ministry’s initiative aimed at linking the Egyptian scientists abroad with their homeland, and benefiting from their expertise in their various fields and scientific branches.

The Investment Ministry called the major investment groups and companies to partake in this event, and provided the Migration Ministry with the important institutions and investors who have the desire to explore the promising investment potentials in Egypt.
