A ceremony will be held on September 13-15 at the Arab League headquarters in Cairo, Egypt, to honour the winners of the 7th edition of His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al-Khalifa for Voluntary Work.
The organizing committee held a meeting, in cooperation with the Arab Voluntary Work Union, to discuss the nominated names vying for the prize and preparations for the final ceremony.
The panel has so far received nominations from several Arab Voluntary Work Union member countries, including Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait, Oman, Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco, Sudan and Somalia. Head of Organising Committee, Arab Voluntary Work Union President Hassan Bouhaza’a said that the final list would be announced on receiving nominations from all member countries.
He pointed out that the committee would hold more coordination meetings with the Arab Voluntary Work Union and the Arab League to ensure the organization of a ceremony that reflects Bahrain’s standing and the importance of the award which is named after His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al-Khalifa.
