Putin and Trump may meet in France or Agrentine at Nove

US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin may meet in Paris or Buenos Aires in November, a senior administration official said in response to a TASS question at a meeting with reporters on Friday.

"There are a couple possibilities, including the G-20 in Buenos Aires or the Armistice Day parade in Paris. At the G-20 is probably more likely. And President Trump’s invitation to Putin to visit Washington, DC still stands," the official said.

France will celebrate the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War with Armistice Day parade on November 11. The G20 summit will be held in Argentina on November 30 - December 1.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told TV Channel One's "Bolshaya Igra" (Big Game) program earlier that the Kremlin does not rule out new meetings between Putin and Trump in the near future. The question has not yet been posed substantially by any side, Peskov noted.

"Several events in the international format are expected soon which both Putin and Trump will attend. Whether it will be First World War memorial events in Paris in November or the G20 summit in Argentina or other events, the two presidents will in any case be there at the same time," Peskov said. However, "the question of holding a bilateral meeting was not yet raised by anybody - neither Moscow nor Washington, and no preparations are made," he added.

"Let's wait for what [US National Security Advisor John] Bolton will pass to Putin from Trump, what he will tell Putin. Maybe after that we will have some new information," Peskov said. Bolton will visit Moscow on Saturday.
