Alyssa Milano is departing Mistresses.
The 41-year-old actress has portrayed Savannah "Savi" Davis on two seasons of the ABC drama, but will not return for a third season. Milano announced the news Tuesday on Twitter, and explained on her website she is leaving to focus on being a mother.
"After two wonderful seasons in Los Angeles, the studio has decided to shoot season three of Mistresses in Vancouver, Canada for financial reasons," she revealed. "It's with a heavy heart that I have decided that I can't relocate."
"I have two babies under 4," she continued. "Being a mother and wife comes first and I just can not uproot my children and separate the family by moving away. I will miss this job desperately and wish everyone the absolute best."
Mistresses premiered on ABC in 2013, and co-starred Milano, Rochelle Aytes, Yunjin Kim and Jes Macallan as Davis, April Malloy, Karen Kim and Josslyn "Joss" Carver. The series follows the four women as they navigate their complex -- and sometimes illicit -- relationships.
Milano has been married to agent David Bugliari since August 2009. The couple have two children together -- 3-year-old son Milo Thomas and newborn daughter Elizabella Dylan.
