Teresa Giudice did not join her Real Housewives of New Jersey co-stars
Thursday while they promoted the sixth season of their reality show on the Today show.
Reality TV Magazine reports Guidice has chosen to stay under the radar as she deals with the aftermath of her and husband's Joe Giudice guilty plead to fraud charges, which could land them both behind bars.
Bravo executives are allegedly not pleased with Guidice's attitude nor her skipping the appearance on Today to promote the series.
"t's very frustrating for Bravo," a source told Radar Online. "They tried to tell Teresa that she was contractually obligated to show but her legal crisis manager, Wendy Feldman, shut that down. Teresa's contract is actually very loose, and doesn't clearly dictate what media she must do."
Guidice is allegedly weary of promoting the show because "she is afraid of doing anything that would negatively impact the proceedings." While speaking to People magazine about her decision to stay on the series in spite of her legal woes, Guidice said: "I'm in it and I don't want to stop."
Adding, "This is my job and I want to keep going."
In spite of the reality star's best efforts to keep her life private, her struggles with the fraud charges will be featured in the upcoming season of RHONJ, which is set to premiere Sunday at 8 p.m.
