Wesley Snipes would like to play Blade again

Wesley Snipes has met with Marvel executives over the possibility of a return for Blade and his place in the expanding Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Snipes sat down with Marvel executives to discuss a possible return of Blade in the upcoming films, as well as Blade 4 .

Deadline reports the actor had "a really productive and a wonderful meeting [with Marvel] and we discussed a number of things." He also discussed to being open to the possibility of Blade being part of the Marvel universe in other ways if not in a film but a series.

According to The Independent, many fans had suggested Blade ]return, much like Daredevil, in a stand alone series on Netflix.

While Wesley Snipes is more than eager to return to the role of Blade, the actor is currently starring in The Player, which will air on NBC.
