Amal Arafa attended the first film premier for her leading role in the new film “Lemon Flavor,” which was held at the Kanadi Cinema in Damer, Damascus. The entire film cast along with a huge number of well-known artists and media personalities attended the premiere. In the film, Arafa plays the role of an Iraqi woman named “Laila.” Cast members include Nadira Omran, Hasan Owaiti, Mohammed Hodaqi, and Khaled El Kheish. The plot of the film tells the story of Iraqi and Palestinian refugee cases in Syria, and it was written by Hatem Ali and Rafi Wahbeh. It was directed by first-time director Nidal Sejari. Amal has finished filming another work; her role as “Zahzahan” in the TV drama “Al Zaeem” will be broadcast during Ramadan on MBC TV, in addition to appearing on our screens in a new season of “Spotlight.”
