Egyptian actress Rehab al Gamal begins filming for new series Gadawel on Monday, Arabstoday learnt in an exclusive interview with the star. The series will be shot entirely at Voice of Cairo studios in Abbasseya, Egypt. Rehab explained how she took advantage of her trip to Ain Sukhna in Northern Cairo where she travelled to film scenes for her other role in the TV drama Pharaoh, to start working on Gadawel. The new series will explore the evolution of Egyptian society, focusing on its shifting values and habits collectively. The starlet added: "The programme follows the social and personal life of an Egyptian family and how their relationships with each other changes and grows.” Rehab will co-star alongside Suhair Ramzi, Mahmoud Kabil, Ahmed Fouad Selim and many more notable Egyptian actors in the upcoming series.
