Containing poems written in Spanish and English, as well as one in Portuguese, the new anthology by poet and author Glade A. Myler, “Through the Eye of the Needle: A Book of Poetry” (published by Trafford Publishing), shows the overarching nature of life’s happenings.
“Each poem depicts some aspect of life that I have experienced,” Myler says. “No one can sit in an ivory tower and understand life fully without having experienced it from being a child to the teen years to maturity, marriage, having a family, the relationship with other people and watching them cope with their lives, and lastly working hard in order to garner wisdom and insight into life.”
Myler is a student of the world; he speaks four languages and writes his poetry to appeal to a variety of readers, as opposed to a select audience. The poetry within “Through the Eye of the Needle” further emphasizes his appreciation for the world with themes of love, music, art, sports, self-discovery and human emotion.
