Author Mason Adams compiles the spiritual lessons he’s learned and transforms them into poetry and prose in his new collection, “A Message from the Soul” (published by Balboa Press).
“A Message from the Soul” is organized into three parts and reflects on the central themes of meditate, love, share and explore through poetry. Adams offers advice on how to mediate and provides encouraging mantras for readers to repeat as they begin their meditation practices.
Adams also includes a short story on what it means to have true peace and happiness. When a young boy meets his guardian angel, he learns a valuable lesson. The story imparts a meaningful message that Adams hopes will inspire readers to connect to each other and the planet.
Adams began writing “A Message from the Soul” after dealing with a difficult decision that left him conflicted. He found that through writing, he was able to wholly express his thoughts and feelings. He hopes readers will find their own meanings in his work.
An excerpt from the poem “I Whisper My Wishes,” featured in “A Message from the Soul”:
“I whisper my wishes for you to hear and see.
I whisper my wishes to the wind and the rain.
I whisper my wishes and pray my hushed voice finds its way to your heart.
For I have found you in eternity, and will laugh with you in the love of forever.”
