Families of the nine Chinese victims, who were killed in the balloon crash in Luxor, Friday, will attend the funeral of the victims of the Luxor hot air balloon accident at the site of the incident in Dabayaa village. They will be joined by a number of representatives of foreign embassies and the first secretary at the Chinese Embassy in Cairo. A team is continuing their investigation into the incident, and the prosecution has decided to form an independent committee of experts to submit a report regarding the incident. Prosecution investigations in Luxor confirmed that hot air balloon licenses are still valid, as well as licenses of private aviation. The investigations also revealed that the balloon had obtained a certificate of validity before taking-off, and that was in the presence of officials of the civil aviation ministry.
