Aviation rally lands at pyramids area in Giza on Thursday

The pyramids area in Giza on Thursday saw the landing of an aviation rally organized by the Aviation Club to mark 100 years since it was launched.
Later, the rally will take off to the tourist city of Luxor, Director General of the Giza Plateau Ashraf Mohey said.
The event comes as part of the state efforts to promote tourism, he said.
The rally took off from the Greek island of Crete to pass through Egypt and end in Cape Town in South Africa, he added.
