Best Western has unveiled a new look for its Asian website. The revamped bestwesternasia.com site offers information about Best Western’s hotels in Asia and the Middle East, accompanied by new imagery. In addition, the company has unveiled a new iPad app for its Asian hotels, providing information about the hotels’ rooms, amenities and facilities, along with Google maps of the local area. Customers can also book the hotels directly via the app. The app is available to download for free from the iTunes store under the name ‘Best Western Asia’. “Today’s traveller needs an informative and immersive online experience, and we are delighted to be able to provide this with our excellent new website and iPad app for Asia and the Middle East. We will soon have an android application too,” said Glenn de Souza, Best Western’s vice president of international operations for Asia & the Middle East. “The new website allows our guests to become fully engaged with our 135-plus hotels in the region, providing all the information one needs to make an informed and easy booking. And with our enhanced collection of hotel and destination images, guests will be able to experience that feeling of exploration before they even check-in,” he added. Over the last few years, Best Western has introduced a selection of new online and mobile tools, including a new global website, apps for all smartphones and tablets, and a booking widget for Facebook users.
