The Chiba Convention Bureau and International Center will be attending IT&CM China from April 17th to the 19th at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center. Mr. Takeo Katsura from the sales division and Mr. Seiji Yokoyama from the PR division of the Chiba Convention Bureau will be joined by Kuzushige Kato from the sales division of the Sheraton Grade Tokyo Bay Hotel at the Chiba Booth, located within the Japan section. Visitors can come by the booth to learn about the various MICE Destinations in Chiba Prefecture, such as the Tokyo Disneyland Resort, Makuhari Messe, the Kazusa Arc Convention Center, and the Narita International Airport Area. A few topics of interest are Urayasu City’s plans for installing free wifi internet in all of its major tourist facilities, Chiba City’s new subsidy system, which when combined with Chiba Prefecture’s subsidy system allows for the largest possible subsidies in Japan, the new business terminal at Narita International Airport, and the new opening of the largest outlet mall in the Kanto Area in Kisarazu City. Visitors can also pick up a copy of the new Chiba MICE Guide for Meeting Planners, which includes information on most of the facilities in Chiba Prefecture, as well as the new Makuhari Official Map 2012. These and other available pamphlets will be invaluable resources when planning your event.
