Egypt's Deputy Foreign Minister for African Affairs Hamdi Loza will head Wednesday for Burundi to probe ways to solve the Burundian crisis.
Loza will meet with Burundian President Pierre Nkurunziza to get acquainted with his vision on the current situation in Burundi and ways to bring an end to the Burundian crisis, said a statement by Foreign Ministry on Tuesday.
Egypt has contributed to coordinate a visit of a UN Security Council delegation to Burundi to review the Burundian crisis. Egypt's Permanent Representative to the UN took part in the delegation.
Egypt condemns all forms of violence, Loza said, calling on all parties in Burundi to engage in a dialogue to serve the best interests of the Burundian people.
