In its ever-committed goal of becoming a city that offers the best of myriad experiences for residents and tourists alike, Dubai has added two significant landmarks to its urban scape this year that are emblematic of its dynamism, vision and innovation, said a UAE daily.
In an editorial on Thursday, Gulf News said, "The Dubai Safari and Dubai Frame have taken their place in the 2017 calendar with aplomb, further enriching the profile of the city with their stunning appeal and aesthetics. From the unforgettable antecedents of the Dubai Zoo that has charmed and entertained millions of visitors down the decades, to its metamorphosis into the impressive Dubai Safari, this new landmark is evidence of how Dubai continues to raise the bar in its efforts to offer the best in everything it does.
The paper went on to say, "With many firsts to offer, the Dubai Safari has expanded the limits of visitor enjoyment, taking its place amongst the finest animal parks in the world, proving that the desert environment is not an obstacle for a vision that has the power to shape its ambitions with precision.
"Adding to this testimony of the emirate’s zeal for excellence is the debut of the imposing Dubai Frame, that presents a concept unlike anything of its kind elsewhere. An architectural ingenuity that is a gateway to an encapsulated view of old and new Dubai, the myriad sensory experiences on offer at the Dubai Frame are yet another example of how Dubai melds architecture with history, ancient and modern, to add a stunning new facet to its world-famous profile.
"The two much-awaited projects, that will assume their deserved acclaim in the times to come, are heralding in the new year with the promise of personifying new ways of experiencing Dubai," concluded the Dubai-based daily.
