Egyptian International Cooperation Minister Sahar Nasr left here Monday for the UAE, concluding a two-day visit.
The Egyptian minister had started the Kuwait visit on Sunday to seek funding for Sinai development projects.
She met Monday with the Kuwaiti side of the Egyptian-Kuwaiti cooperation council on means to pump more Kuwaiti investments into the Egyptian market, Egyptian Ambassador here Yasser Atef told MENA.
During her meetings with representatives of Arab financial funds and institutions, Nasr agreed with them on offering Egypt soft loans worth $1.5 billion with the loan agreements expected to be signed at the end of the first quarter of 2016.
