Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, has announced the upcoming increase of its direct services between Bahrain and Muscat with an additional 4 weekly flights, in response to growing demand.
The additional flights will enhance connectivity for Oman-based travellers to the rest of the Gulf, Middle East, India and beyond via Bahrain while facilitating same-day travel between the two countries with the new flight timings.
Commenting on the enhanced flight schedule, Gulf Air’s Acting Chief Commercial Officer Mr. Ahmed Janahi said: "We are pleased to announce the four additional frequencies between Bahrain and Muscat, further strengthening our position as one of the largest regional networks and reinforcing our commitment to our passengers by providing them with convenient schedules and enhanced connectivity."
Flights to Muscat will increase from 21 to 25 weekly flights, adding 4 weekly flights on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays departing Bahrain International Airport at 09:00 to arrive into Muscat International Airport at 11:30 and departing Muscat at 12:15 to arrive into Bahrain International Airport at 12:50.
The new schedule will take effect from 20th January 2015 and flights can be booked online at www.gulfair.com, by calling the airline’s 24 hour Worldwide Contact Centre on (+973) 17373737, or through any Gulf Air sales offices and approved travel agencies.
