The International French Travel Market (IFTM) - Top Resa - kicked off here on Tuesday with a large Arab and international participation.
Egypt is taking part in the fair with a 100 square meters pavilion which was designed in accordance with a pharaonic architecture in a promotion campaign that aims at luring more foreigners for tourism in Egypt.
Top Resa is one of the leading travel and tourism trade shows in France and held annually at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles.
It is the key trade event of the branch and includes all the players in the travel sector – from tour operators and travel agencies to coach operators, airlines, event agencies etc.
The IFTM International french travel market will run for 4 days.
In statements to MENA, Egypt's Tourism Advisor at the Egyptian Embassy in Paris Nahed Rezq said ten Egyptian companies are participating in the fair, including Egypt's national carrier EgyptAir.
The Egyptian pavilion will witness daily workshops to identify potential tourists on the Egyptian tourism market offers, she said.
Invitations will be extended to French tourist companies operators to visit Egypt to get posted on the Egyptian tourism market, she added.
Egyptian Minister of Tourism Hisham Zazou is expected here on Tuesday afternoon to take part in the fair as part of his current European tour.
