Kuwait airport set to join A380 club

Kuwait International Airport plans to receive an Emirates airline Airbus A380 flight making it the second destination to accommodate the double-decker aircraft in the Middle East.
Emirates will allow the plane to operate on the Dubai-Kuwait route five times a week, airport official Saleh Al-Faddaghi told KUNA.
The plane needs special gates to accommodate incoming and outgoing travelers, and the airport authority has completed the construction of the gate.
