Stella Warmuth (34) has been appointed the new Area Manager for the Middle East, Asia Pacific & Africa and is now responsible for sales in these markets. She will report to Mats Jacobsson, Vice President International Sales at airberlin. “The countries in the Middle East, in the Asia-Pacific region and in Africa are strategically important growth markets, in which Airberlin will collaborate more closely with our partner airline Etihad Airways in the future. We have created this new role of Area Manager in order to systematically expand and strengthen these markets and also to provide an interface with Etihad Airways,” said Paul Gregorowitsch, Chief Commercial Officer airberlin. Stella Warmuth has been working for airberlin since June 2008 and was initially an International Sales Manager responsible for the markets in Great Britain and France; in April 2011 she took over as Head of International Sales Planning & Coordination. She has many years of experience in sales and account management in the tourism sector. Born in Berlin, Stella Warmuth studied Business Administration at the Berlin School of Economics and at Bristol Business School in the United Kingdom and graduated with an international joint degree from the two institutions.
