The U.A.E. Ministry of Foreign Affairs has warned citizens(who are carrying Diplomatic, official and ordinary) passports, not to travel to Lebanon due to the events and the unstable security conditions being witnessed there. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Butti Al Hamed, Under- Secretary of Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a statement also urged the U.A.E. citizens in Lebanon to leave the country immediately for safety reasons and coordinate with the U.A.E. Embassy in Beirut on the following numbers to facilitate their departure process: 0096118570000 and the Operations Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs: 0097124449600. He urged the citizens to comply with this warning until further notice and to be cautious when traveling outside the country. The ministry also advised citizens traveling overseas to carefully read the travel advice page at the ministry's website and to enroll in the Tawjdi (my whereabouts) service for the UAE citizens.
