MoT plans religious tourism circuits

The Ministry of Tourism (MoT) has planned to develop religious tourism circuits during the 12th Five Year Plan. The themes identified on the circuit development are based on Buddhism, Hinduism, Sufism, Jainism, Sikhism and Christianity. The circuits will be developed in an integrated manner with financial assistance from the Centre and appropriate involvement of state governments and private sector. Source: Travel Daily
