Here is a fun activity for anyone who loves travelling and taking photos! In cooperation with Tourism Authority of Thailand, Koh Yao Yai Village is inviting you to join the 2nd “Sapai Klong Thong Koh Yao” photo contest (Get a camera and travel to Koh Yao) on 27 – 29 October 2012. Photography field trip will take place on Koh Yao, Phang Nga province. Participants can learn from three leading professional photographers who will be the judges for the contests during the trip. On the 27th, participants will travel to Koh Yao Yai to experience the local way of life, the beauty of nature, and help save the environment of mangrove forest. The topic for the photo contest is “Song vithee cheevit pan lens” (Life through a lens). On the 28th, participants will visit beautiful islands in the area including Koh Hong, Pi Le Bay and Koh Lao Gudu. The topic for the second day is “Pab hang kwam pratub jai” (Photo of Impression). There are prizes to win on the evenings of both 27 – 28 October. For interested people, it is THB 5,500 per person for a package of 3 days 2 nights which includes accommodation at Koh Yao Yai Village, full board, coffee break, and roundtrip transfer from Phuket by the resort’s boat. If you book in a group of 3, the package is at THB 5,200 per person.
