Qatar Airways on Monday announced plans to increase frequencies on its services to Dubai.
Effective from October 26, Qatar Airways will operate 14 flights per day to Dubai International Airport and four daily flights to Dubai World Central's Al Maktoum Airport.
This popular Gulf route is currently served by the airline 91 times a week, and will be increasing to 98 flights a week, Qatar Airways said in a statement.
The 14 daily flights will depart Doha on the hour and from Dubai International on the half hour, it added.
Apart from Dubai, Qatar Airways also currently operates three flights a day to Sharjah and six daily flights to Abu Dhabi.
Qatar Airways group CEO Akbar Al Baker said: "We are dedicated to increasing our presence in key markets like the UAE and adding capacity on one of our most popular routes like Dubai demonstrates this commitment.
"As one of our closest neighbours in the Gulf, it is of key importance to offer excellent and frequent air travel connections to the UAE, and the increase in capacity will offer our passengers an even wider variety of options when they are looking to reach their final destinations", added Al Baker.
Qatar Airways operates one of the largest global networks and as such presents a unique advantage for passengers seeking to reach Europe, the Middle East, Asia Pacific, Africa and the North and South American markets with its seamless connections via Doha.
The airline has seen rapid growth in just 17 years of operation, to the point where today it is flying a modern fleet of 135 aircraft to 144 key business and leisure destinations across the globe.
