RAK Airways, owned by the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, will give away tickets on coming Fridays at the emirate’s malls. The carrier said that it will give away two tickets each tomorrow (June 1, 2012) and June 8. The June 1 event will be held at RAK Mall and June 8 at Safeer Mall. Both the malls are located in Ras Al Khaimah. The airline has introduced this promotion to announce the launch of RAK Premier – the new business class from the airline. The airline has already given away four tickets on previous two Fridays at the emirate’s shopping malls. Sam Abdrabo, Acting Marketing Manager, said passengers flying with RAK Airways’ business class will be offered limousine service from home anywhere in the UAE, personalized escort to aircraft, special meal, dedicated RAK Premier counter and other exclusive services. The airline currently operates to Kozhikode, Jeddah, Dhaka, Chittagong, Cairo, Doha, Lahore, Peshawar and Katmandu. The airline carried over 250,000 passengers in 2011 and is gearing up to launch its high quality premier product ‘RAK Premier’, in the first week of June. John Brayford, Acting CEO RAK Airways said, ‘‘RAK Airways offers a high quality product, delivered with excellent service standards at a competitive rate. With the launch of RAK Premier, we will be able to offer individual personalised service to our Business Class customers. Passenger interest is already high following the RAK Premier road show at the four prominent shopping malls in Ras Al Khaimah. John Brayford said: ‘RAK Premier is one of several initiatives designed to drive our customer base and it will form the springboard for the airline’s expansion in 2013. The market is very competitive and passengers are always seeking best service and best value.
