Saudi Arabian Airlines
Riyadh - Arab Today

Saudi Arabian Airlines has announced the resumption of its flights to Ataturk International Airport in Istanbul as scheduled from main stations in Jeddah, Riyadh, Dammam and Madinah, less than 48 hours after flights were suspended and airports closed due to the events in Turkey.
The first flights took off on Saturday from Jeddah to Istanbul with 150 Umrah passengers on board, while an Airbus 330 flight from Istanbul took off at dawn and arrived in Jeddah on Sunday morning carrying 243 Saudi citizens, who preferred to return to the Kingdom after the attempted coup. Passengers were accepted on the trip without prior reservations.
The commercial affairs department at Saudi Arabian Airlines responded immediately with the events and the closure of Turkish airports, as well as communicated with travelers through SMS messages to inform them of flight cancelations, and provide them with up-to-date information. The airline also shared information on its official website and social media accounts, including information of flight cancelations, and then the resumptions of flights to and from Turkey.
Saudi Arabian Airlines currently operates 34 round-trip flights weekly to and from Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, and Madinah and Istanbul, and will soon restart flights to Ankara.
