Participants in the world's longest river regatta for tourists entitled Tour International Danubien (TID) arrived in Belgrade, where they will spend two days, and then head for the Black Sea. The rowers will be staying at the sports centre on the Ada Huja peninsula as the guests of the Belgrade municipality of Palilula. The regatta brought together participants from all countries of the Danube River Basin, but also from Switzerland and the UK, and even from other continents-from Israel, Australia, the United States, New Zealand, and China. The total length of the regatta is 2,455 km, from the start in Ingolstadt, Germany, to St. George, Romania, which the rowers cross in 73 days.
