Sudanese Minister for Justice Awad Al Hassan Al Nour on Saturday issued a decision in the case of the loss by Sudan Airway of its parking lot at Heathrow airport, SUNA reported.
It is to be noted that this was based on the fact that the Sudanese Attorney General had earlier directed that a legal suit filed against each of Ian Patrick, the Counselor for the Kuwaiti Arif, Investment Group and Captain Ali Ditchi, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Group, as well as anyone proved to have relations of cooperation, agreement or inciting them, and is involved in the loss of the parking lot.
The decision has directed each of the Bank of the Sudan and the Ministry of Finance to halt payment of any dues for each of Arif Group and Fayha Holding Company, pending the verdict on the two suits, the criminal and the civil suits, against them.
The decision of the Minister has stipulated that the procedures be referred to the Attorney General to initiate, in coordination with the Ministry of Transport, Roads and Bridges, a suit against the Kuwaiti group and the Faiyha Holding Company in accordance with the stipulation of the contract's clause on termination of partnership.
