Train services between the Casa Voyageurs, Casa Port, and Ain Sebaa railway stations will be suspended Sunday for 24 hours due to major construction works, announced the National Office of Railways (ONCF).
“All trains heading south will start from Casablanca Voyageur railway, while trains coming from the north will end their services at the Ain Sebaa station,” said ONCF.
The national railway company will offer busses for the benefit of the passengers who desire to continue their trips between Casa Voyageurs and Ain Sbaa stations.
The same source continued that it will reinforce its workforce to intensify the completion of these construction works within 24 hours, instead of 364 hours.
The services to be suspended on Sunday will be back to normal on Monday, August 21.
The ONCF added that these construction works are part of the large-scale project that has been been carried out for seven months at Casablanca’ railway stations.
The construction aims to improve railway traffic in Casablanca, which sees the transit of more than 200 trains daily
